Being single is a state of life which some discern to be for them, it is a life whereby they express their gifts, experience a rich life and find their place in the family of the church.
Being single is a call to something positive. God calls you to a way to encounter Him in the circumstances of your state in life. There is a sense of peace and freedom to develop and explore life as a single person. This vocation leaves one free to undertake work or charity that others may not be able to do because of the constraints of other commitments.
