The Youth Group is led by a team of parishioners enthusiastic about the faith, they are Louise C, Braden & Mel S, Peter & Ali N, together with Tom M (our diocesan youth leader). They are a fantastic team. The group meets every fortnight on Fridays.

Youth Club
An initiative of our diocesan youth worker Tom M. and lead by Paula L. and teachers of St Laurences, the children are informed in the teachings of the Catholic faith and prayer, and they play… and play! An awesome group. They meet twice a term and it is for years 5-6 after school.
Altar Servers
“Dear altar boys and altar girls, the closer you are to the altar, the more you will remember to speak with Jesus in daily prayer; the more you will be nourished by the Word and the Body of the Lord, the better able you will be to go out to others, bringing them the gift that you have received, giving in turn with enthusiasm the joy you have received.
Thank you for serving at the Lord’s altar and for making of this service a real school of learning the faith, and charity toward your neighbour. Thank you also for having begun to respond to the Lord, like the prophet Isaiah, “Here I am. Send me” (IS 6:8).”
Pope Francis to altar servers 04/08/2015
Any child who has done their first Holy Communion is eligible to become an altar server. Full training is provided. Altar Servers are rostered to serve at their preferred Mass. If you wish to join please contact the priest.
