Inspired by the Jubilee theme “Pilgrims of Hope”, the Wilcannia-Forbes Boat of Hope will embark on a symbolic journey across our diocese, visiting parishes, schools, and classrooms throughout the Jubilee Year. Blessed by Bishop Columba, the boat features elements of the official Jubilee logo and will “set sail” at the beginning of Term 2.
At each stop, the community will engage in reflective activities, contributing prayers of hope that will be gathered and carried within the vessel. The boat’s voyage and the hope it inspires can be followed on social media as it travels from community to community.
